which aircraft hardware is the most expensive of all..?

Elvin Mannheimer: I would imagine the engine.

Marita Stadick: The most is the Engine BladesEach Sing Blade worth no less than 300,000 $

Foster Padgette: engines

Lon Pennington: I'd probably guess the pins holding the wing to the fuselage. not only would the part be expensive imagine the manhrs to change.

Kris Bozelle: well being specific iam asking about AIRCRAFT HARDWARE.. neither engine parts nor the engine price.. hardware refers to the screws, nuts, bolts, rivets and other small parts wich are used for the ASSEMBLY of an Aircraft

Sharolyn Claybourn: The one that fails and makes it crash ends up being the most expensive....

Bob Nakamoto: you are right ,for the jo-bolt if you talk abou hardware !!!i work as a buyer for an airline you have a lot of expensive part on an aircraft everything is expensive . wheels 30000$ IDG close to 500000$ ....Show more

Sherrill Botting: The engines and all of them avionics boxes in the E&E compart! ment. Hell the Autopilot panel on a 737 alone is over $200,000.Btw the most expensive engine blades are the ones on the 777. They are $47,000 each. Never heard of $300k blades before unless you are talking about protorype aircraft.

Carmina Stickney: The most expensive is the hardware that is made of titanium, some screws cost about $5.00. However the bolts that hold the engine to the wing are in the thousands 2-$3000 or more it just depends on the application model.
