What Would A GOOD CAMCORDER BE???

After all, if there was one "best" camcorder, none of the others would sell, would they?For example, I'd love to have a Panasonic AG-HVX200. However, it's a bit out of my price range.So, you need to answer a few questions for yourself about how you expect to use the camera.Select your recording media; for consumer camcorders, the main ones are MiniDV tape, DVD, and hard drive. Each has its positives and negatives, depending on how you plan to use them. For example, I prefer MiniDV tape because it offers the best quality, and it offers the greatest compatibility with computer editing software. If I just wanted to shoot my videos and play them on a TV without editing, thou! gh, I might think about DVD. Maybe.Then, what about other features? What do you plan on using the camera for? Outdoor scenes like vacations? Indoor things like school plays? Day? Night? Do you need a microphone jack? An on-board light? How important is photo-taking ability? Do you like to have a great deal of manual control over your image, or do you always just use the automatic settings? What is your price range??These are questions you need to ask yourself. When you've answered them, then, and only then, are you ready to select a camcorder. Do some research.I won't recommend any particular brand, either. Just about any major brand puts out great, good-quality products, and each brand has its strengths and weaknesses.
