Best motorcycle for a passenger?

Marquetta Gimm: whats the back rest for? ( she wants to hang on? hang on to you? are you nuts? I used to take those sissy bars OFF. just for that reason!!! please, ok actually a lot of my girl friends felt much safer with a backrest, go look at what used to be called a king queen seat, if was really comfortable, the queen part was several inches higher, which gave a better veiw for the rider on the back, over your shoulder, which is important, and usually has a strap on the seat that gives them even more supports to hang onto, some women, rightfully so are scared peeless to be on motorcyles (which may turn out to be to your advantage later, when the calm down and realize how much fun they are having. good luck have fun, stay out of trouble.and go with a 750 or a bit bigger, you will like the extra power with a passenger.650 is too small, (been there done that,)...Show more

Davina David: the OTHER guys motorcycle lol :P

Ron Keliipio: The standard or cruiser s! tyle, 500cc or over, any brand or model you like, with an aftermarket king/queen seat. This is for reference as to the style I'm talking about, nothing more: http://www.jcwhitney.com/custom-fit-double-bucket-...I had a similar one, sheepskin top, on a CB650 Custom. One word about sheepskin - GOTTA wear rain gear in or after a rain. It holds water - a lot of water....Show more

Len Dalba: I have a double bucket custom seat on my Goldwing- passenger section has about same as rider- wide hip support and a lower back support padding section about 4 inchs. Tailtrunk acts as back rest if passenger leans back. This is a common custom seat pattern by multiple manufacturers, some kits like mine mount on stock seat pan. Some of the cruiser bikes also come stock with a similar wide in back contoured passenger seat instead of simple pad, I've seen them on newer Yamahas at dealer floor, Suzuki Boulevard 800 had similar....Show more

Rosie Travino: btw don't ask about the three y! ears of riding when im that young... its local laws...

A! rdath Templer: yeah 750 is a good idea. no traffic around here, so i can't get into trouble! lol i also want to do long hauls on it so that would be good

Lynn Mctier: Best motorcycle for a passenger is a Goldwing. Also the most comfortable perch on any motorcycle to take a nap while someone else navigates.

Hilma Pestano: I have a Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird. They were sold from 96-03 here in the US and run ~3500-5000 USD today. They were the fastest bikes of their era topping out ~185mph and running low 10s. Plus they are supernaturally smooth, very refined, get 40MPG and, for a sportbike, are very commodious. My Ex was small (5'2" and 98lbs or so) but she loved to ride the XX. Best all around bike out there. But she was afraid she was going to fall off the back. Every time we passed a bike with a sissy bar, or a tourer with a big, cushy back seat she would point it out saying "ooh isnt that a nice bike" or "why dont! you get a bike like that" she even asked aboutputting an aftermarket sissybar on the Blackbird!Later I added a 82 KZ1100 with a sissy bar, and a velour covered stepped seat to my fleet. She wasnt so crazy about it, but I think that was a styling thing. I love the KZ. She thought it was an old POS, because thats what it looks like.I guess the point of this is you cant satisfy a woman, so get what you want. Youll be riding it most anyway. And what you want is a Blackbird.Ive also heard very good things about the Interceptors, esp from the wife of a guy who had a blackbird....Show more
