What is the difference between an author and a corporate author?

answers1:An author is the name of an individual person. A corporate
author is the name of an organization, business or other institution.
Example: American Allergy Association.See the OWL at Purdue - MLA
style - at this
page:https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/06...You may want
to open a chat with a librarian (See public or college library
website). We get these questions a lot!...Show more
answers2:A corporate author is someone who is employed by a company on
a salary to write books and articles for them, the people who write
instruction manuals are an example of this (although some companies
hire independent authors), as a Microsoft instruction manual author
would require access to the developers.
