Renato Abatiell: tough choice. Because you have been to Dublin, I probably would not choose there. I think Barcelona would have more of a night life than Florence although Florence might be filled with more historic and architectural sites. Florence is a more central location especially if plan on trips to Austria, Swiz, France even Croatia or Spain. Me personally Barcelona - been to Italy (not the northern part though) and traveling to Dublin this summer.

Robin Tommie: I'm studying abroad now and have been to Florence and Barcelona, I'll be going to Dublin soon. If I were you I'd for sure study in Barcelona. It's an amazing city. Beautiful beachfront, great people from all over the world, Spanish is easy language to learn and speak, food is awesome, not as expensive as Florence, nightlife is lively, and the weather is warm and it's usually sunny there. Florence is great too, but Barcelona is the pla! ce to be.
