General-Reference Information?

Madie Strople: General Reference information is a required list of all the sources you researched and used parts in your paper. It is usually done as the REFERENCES page at the end of your paper. If you do not site your references, you will be plagiarizing.example: i have used portions of a book in my paper so i have to cite the book on the reference sheet, the order is as follows:author's name (last name first then a comma followed by first name and middle initial if any), copyrighted date, title of the book, publisher, city of publishere.g. to reference "The Little Prince" book you would cite as below:De Saint Exupery, Antonie, 1944, The Little Prince, A Harvest Book Harcourt, Inc. New York, London, San DiegoHere's a great site showing you samples of how to reference books, articles, etc..http://www.wisc.edu/writetest/Handbook/DocNumRefer...Good luck...Show more
