Myriam Hetjonk: Check out 90Strong.com Its got everything you need. Developed by those that work with US Soccer, MLS, NCAA Division 1 programs.
Shamika Schools: This is basically a watered focused course on TKD for sport. They use charts, TASK sheets and other programs to add value but in essence they are not the most decorated experts from Korea. They are very accredited but anyone can tell you that a degree from some university does not equate quality. I remember about a year ago Bally launched a program offering to hire anyone interested in teaching TKD at thier facilities. They would teach you to teach others and put you in a job at one of their locations. All you were required to do was send in a resume. A friend of mine who lived in Naperville, IL sent in his resume and he was offered a job. The sad part was he had "never" trained in any martial art. In order to get the job he had to go through an instructor course, get his black belt in one year and it woul! d cost him big bucks. This same type of thing is going on with some of the bigger franchises out there in Martial Arts. It is sad...you don't even have to be good at martial arts anymore to get a job as a Sensei...or even a black belt...what a sad sad world....Show more
